"Hi Hudson, No doubt! Newer sails have a huge range. You trim them from the downhaul, more tension means looser top for higher winds. 8.5 is a good size for the winds we have here (Lake Norman and Lake James). I sailed on several equipe boards, love…"

I took my Mistral Equipe out Saturday and had a great time blasting in the gusts on a sunny 7 - 20 knot day. My sail is a 7.5m cambered sail from 1991 and the thing weighs so much when i try to up haul. I also have a one-piece 495cm aluminium mast. New Exocet Elite Raceboard

Got my new race board on Friday, sailed in Saturday and was really impressed.  Would not believe in how fast it jumps up on a plane and lightning fast broad reaches... Really simple, non technical, comfortable ride... Photos here... https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AC6D64AwDIV%2DAqY&id=34096CC0F18EA2CF%213770&cid=34096CC0F18EA2CF…See More
